I was commissioned to mosaic a 3D star ( a tetrahedron) for ‘Star Gazing’ a sculpture trail around the grounds of National Trust’s Mottisfont Abbey and Gardens, Hampshire. The 3D Star was 600mm high and 600mm wide and mosaiced with iridescent tiles to capture the light. The core of the star was a steel rod structure. It was attached to a paving stone during this public event. The 3d star was situated in the formal gardens in sight of the famous mosaic angel by Boris Anrep.
